Azeezat 2973Lovers of Nigerian Music in the 90s and early 2000s. will remember the name Azeezat, fondly called the ‘Queen of Love’.

The sultry singer with her weird hair styles and fiery nature on stage, serenaded us with her love songs and powerful voice. She actually started singing at an early age and was one of the leading female vocalists in the country for a long time releasing three albums before she sadly called time on her music career.

She was once nominated at the MNET organized awards in the Best Female Act category in 2000 alongside the likes of Iconic Onyeka Onwenu, also was a tourism ambassador for resort centre Tarqua Bay and successfully publsuhed her Hair and Entertainment Magazine called “Hair’volution Magazine” in 2010.
