Yemi Alade
Biography
Yemi Alade is a singer and performing artiste best known for her hit single Johnny. She was born 13, March 1989 in Abia state as the fifth of 7 offspring of her parents. She studied Geography at the University of Lagos.
Yemi Alade entered the industry as a member of a girl group named Noty Spices in 2005 but her real musical discovery began after she won the Peak Talent Show in 2009. She signed with Effyzzie Music Group in 2012 and released her single "Ghen Ghen Love, the first of a mutually beneficial string of successes that peaked with the bestselling Johnny.
Her debut album, King of Queens was released on 2 October 2014.
