Wande Coal
Biography
Wande Coal was born Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe on 18, October 1985 as the first of two children. He started singing in the church choir and dabbled into dancing professionally until he was discovered and signed on by Don Jazy’s Mo Hits label. He was a significant of Mo’Hits for a spell, playing second fiddle to D’Banj before his debut album Mushin 2 Mo’Hits established him as a star in his own right.
Coal left Mo’Hits and joined Don Jazzy to set up the newly formed Mavin records following creative differences with D’Banj. He was part of the original line up of Mavin artistes but quit the label in 2013 under a cloud of controversy to set up his own Black Diamond imprint. He recently released a follow up to the critically and commercially acclaimed Mushin 2 Mo’Hits.
