Biography
Tiwatope Savage-Balogun is a Nigerian recording artiste and songwriter presently signed to Mavin Records and Sony/ATV publishing. Born in Lagos on 5, February 1980, Savage relocated with her family to London when she was a pupil. She played the trombone for her high school orchestra and graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Kent before studying music professionally at Berkley.
Savage signed with Sony in 2009 as a songwriter and has penned lyrics for Babyface, Fantasia and Monica.
Kele kele love, her first single released in Nigeria in 2010 was a massive hit that was followed up with other popular singles like Love me x3 and Ife wa gbona. Presently managed to her manager and business partner, Tiwa Savage has through her career successes, broken down barriers for female Nigerian artistes. She welcomed her first child in July 2015.
