Biography
Olamide Adedeji, born 15 March 1989 is a rapper, lyricist and label boss who was born in Bariga, Lagos state and attended Tai Solarin University of Education. His debut album Rhapsodi was released while he was signed to ID Cabasa’s Coded Tunes. This debut disc produced hits like Eni duro.
By the time he released his second disc in 2012, Olamide was a free agent and had established his YBNL label. Apart from Olamide, YBNL currently manages the careers of fast rising talents like Lil’Kesh, Viktoh and Adekunle Gold.
Supremely prolific, Olamide is one of the most reliable hit makers making music today. Delivering lines mostly in his native Yoruba, the YBNL boss has taken the term cross over to a whole new level with his songs enjoying massive patronisation across the country.
