Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu, a singer, songwriter and music producer from Obio-Akpor, Rivers State was born 28 October 1983. Though his musical style demonstrates a high-level of genre versatility, it is also heavily influenced by the sounds and culture of his people as most of his songs are sung in his native Ikwerre tongue.
Duncan Mighty initially conceived of a career working behind the scenes, in music production but changed his mind and moved to Port Harcourt to begin recording music. His first album, Koliwater established him as a home grown hit maker but it was with his second disc, Ahamefuna that he enjoyed crossover appeal, with hit songs such as Obianuju and Port Harcourt son. He has released 4 albums in a career that has spanned almost a decade.
He is married to his heartthrob, Vivien.
